San Daniele del Friuli rises just 10 kilometres from Osoppo. The charming town is known around the world for its production of P.D.O. (Protected Denomination of Origin) raw ham.
In the nearby Buja, the Museum of art of the medal can be visited, dedicated by the City to the many internationally renowned engravers of Buja among which excels Pietro Giampaoli, considered one of the greatest engravers of the twentieth century.

The regional nature reserve of Lake Cornino is in the town of Forgaria in Friuli. The lake, a small stretch of water of Carnic origin, can be visited.
The naturalistic environment borders the river Tagliamento, last free river in Europe, hence it is subject to several studies on the flora and fauna. Different animal species can be seen at the visitor centre and nearby among which the majestic griffin.

Ragogna, 15 kilometres away, is home to a museum dedicated to the First World War. Owned by the city administration, it was established in 2007 and is managed by the Hills of Friuli Historic Group - Great War Museum of Ragogna.
